Paste records. Get a ledger.
Use notes, copied spreadsheet rows, or a CSV. You review the result before anything is exported.
The first pass runs in this browser using open-source date, money, and CSV parsers. AI is never automatic.
What can I paste?
- Typed notes with one or several dated transactions
- Rent, payments, partial payments, credits, concessions, late fees, and reversals
- Common date and amount formats, payment references, and running balances
- CSV or copied tables with amount, charge/payment, debit/credit, or signed columns
Best results: English typed records. Add a year and due day for recurring ranges. Review debit/credit meanings before export. Handwriting and image-only PDFs are not supported yet.
From raw history to reviewed record.
The parser organizes what you already have. It never silently decides that an uncertain date, amount, or duplicate is correct.

The ledger tells you what happened.
A ledger follows one account over time. A rent roll summarizes many units right now.

What is a rent ledger?
A rent ledger is a dated record of charges, payments, credits, fees, and the resulting balance for a tenant or rental unit.
Is a rent ledger the same as a rent roll?
No. A ledger shows transaction history for a tenant or unit. A rent roll summarizes leases, occupancy, and expected rent across a property or portfolio.
How are partial payments shown?
Add each payment on the date received. The running balance shows what remains after every charge, payment, credit, or fee.
Does this tool store tenant information?
Local parsing and PDF creation happen in your browser. If you explicitly choose Improve with AI, the pasted text is sent once for extraction; Rent Ledger does not save it.
Is the PDF legally sufficient?
The PDF is a user-created recordkeeping document. Requirements vary, so review it carefully and ask a qualified professional about legal, tax, lending, or court use.
